FRCC+RMC

The Youth Professional Skills Development Program is Back for its Second Year!

In partnership with the Rural Maryland Council (RMC) and the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF), the Fort Ritchie Community Center in Cascade, MD, is proud to be hosting Year 2 of the Youth Professional Skills Development Program, which ran as a pilot program during the 2018-2019 school year.
The program is designed with a clear goal in mind: teaching, motivating, and empowering teens to become successful employees in future jobs. During weekly “Skills Sessions”, participants focus on the development of ‘soft skills’, such as communication, decision-making, work ethic, and professionalism.
