Limited Time Offerings

“Pottery at the Fort”

Ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? In partnership with local artisans Jim and Lucinda Leaman, the Community Center will be hosting a pottery class! During this 6-session course, participants will get to create several stunning pieces of pottery from start to finish!
Lucinda and Jim Leaman are a husband and wife team that have been making pottery since 1983. Now retired, they have turned their passion into a business, Leaman Pottery, specializing in functional pottery for everyday use to enjoy.

“Our goal is to create beautiful one of a kind pieces that you will fall in love with. Our creative process begins on the wheel, throwing clay into sculptured pieces, and then creating rich colorful glazes that you can only get from a master potter. Our creations are one of a kind and truly meaningful pieces that will enhance your home or display.” – Jim and Lucinda

A weekly workshop will be held on Tuesdays between April 23 and May 28. Each session will run from 6:30pm-8:30pm and will be held at the Community Center.
Pricing is offered on a per-session basis ($40/session), or a 6-session special DISCOUNT is available as well ($200 for 6 sessions).
