Free Chromebooks
May 22nd from 3 PM – 7PM at the Fort Richie Community Center
United Way of Frederick County, Washington County Free Library, the State of Maryland, and Frederick County Government are partnering to close the digital divide!
How to Qualify:
One Chromebook may go to each household/address if the resident is 18 years old or older, a Frederick County or Washington County resident, and participates in one of the following programs:
- Receives SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, or WIC Benefits
- A child receives free or reduced lunches through Frederick or Washington County Public Schools
- Federal Housing Benefits
- Federal Pell Grant
- Income below the 200% Federal Poverty Level
- Veteran’s Pension or Survivor Benefits
What to Bring:
Recipients must bring something to verify their identity (driver’s license or other government ID) and documentation for any programs listed.
